It is important to me that my students attain their goals and I am very
committed to helping them reach this outcome. We reach true success when I
help you perform better on the golf course and have fun doing it!
I tailor my program to each student's ability level and goal. I will
consider an overall plan for you; my basic program is the following package:
- Basic fundamentals of the golf swing
- Club fitting with the PING methodology (industry gold standard)
- Practice Observation
- Rules and Etiquette of the game
- How to manage your game
- Playing lessons on the golf course
I base my teaching methods on the teachings of Ben Hogan, one of the
greatest ball strikers of the game. His teachings are the foundation of
the first section of our lessons, the fundamentals of the golf swing, and
include grip, aim, stance, posture, balance, back swing, forward swing and
finish. After our first few sessions you will understand how these
fundamentals affect your ball flight . For example, your grip size
will affect whether you hit the ball straight, right or left. PING offers
six different grip sizes to ensure everyone finds the right match.
During the fundamentals of the golf game we will cover the four basic shots,
chip/sand shot, half swing, I-swing and finally the full swing. Throughout
the practice observations I will document your progress with a video
available to you in soft copy. Additionally I'll recommend you invest in a
few teaching aids ( videos/readings) to refresh your learning after class
and help you avoid regressing into bad habits.
Play your Best,
